What a great week we have had so far as we have immersed ourselves into the world of science. We were delighted to welcome three scientists to start our week and what diverse and fascinating things they shared with us. From the Northern Lights to leeches, from graphene to maggots, we were enthralled. Our thanks go to Dr Niranji Atherton, Prof Jim Wild and Prof Neil Drummond, parents from our school, for bravely standing in front of 200 children!
On Monday the children were split into all age classes and moved around the school undertaking experiments and challenges. It was inspiring to see older children working with younger children, lots of questioning, unending curiosity and most of all, excitement.
